Christian leaders within SAM Ministries' expanding network in Mozambique are resolute in their mission to better their communities; however, they confront daunting obstacles stemming from poverty, scarce resources, and a lack of access to essential strategic support. Without vital mentorship, training, encouragement, and connections, they cannot drive lasting change.

Invest in a promising individual's future and the remote communities they’ll impact. There is no network for crisis response in these areas.

Leaders cover cost of books

There are requirements to enter the program to ensure participation, accountability, and commitment.

Solid foundation in Christ

Theological training empowers leaders to nurture faith and offer Christlike direction in communities lacking access to Christian education.

6.5-year training program

This long-term training started in 1998. The curriculum has developed over time. There are no other training or mentoring options available.

Build essential infrastructure

Trained leaders build lifesaving health and education infrastructure where no such social support systems currently exist.

Leaders training leaders

Each zone has a supervisor, and each zone has monitors who train their communities. Women’s and children’s literacy does not exist outside of the network.

About the SBF Leadership Training Program

It is distressing to watch strong, motivated leaders struggle in their efforts because they lack resources and training. The SBF Leadership Training Program (in English: Faith Bible Seminary) empowers these leaders with the mentorship, training, and resources they need to drive lasting change and transform lives. By supporting this initiative, you can foster spiritual, economic, health, social, environmental, and educational growth, creating a better, more sustainable future for all.

  • Central training provided, as well as extension seminars in local communities

  • Leaders are required to engage in their local church and disciple at least one other person

  • 6.5-year seminary training program

  • Primarily church leaders but also includes leaders in community, education and health
